Ms. Mary Gardner

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at UNC-Pembroke. I then earned my licsese in Education from ECU. My journey as an educator started at Craven Early College High School where I taught for four years before making the move to Greenville. In my classroom, I encourage all students to become self motivated, life long learners through a combination of direct instruction and collaborative group work.

Fun Fact: A fun fact about me is I love hobbies typically associated with older people such as crocheting, cross  stitching, bowling, jigsaw puzzles, and bingo!

Why Do I Love Teaching At The Early College: One thing I love about working at the Early College is the family atmosphere. Since we are a small school, we have no choice but to get to know each other and I love every single coworker. The students are amazing as well!
