Hello! My name is Shannon Cappillo, and I moved to Pitt County from a small town about an hour outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education with a concentration in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014, and my Master's degree in Secondary Education in 2019. Before moving to North Carolina, I taught World History, American History 1920-Present, and Government and Economics. I am beyond excited to be a part of Pitt County Schools Early College High School!
Fun Fact: I have an Australian Shepherd named Indiana Jones and a Corgi named Leia.
What I Love About Teaching At The Early College: I love the small class sizes, because I am able to get to know my students on a more personal level.
