2026 Graduation Protocol

Before You Receive Graduation Tickets

  • All school fees must be paid no later than May 14, 2026
  • Pledge Letters outlining behavior for students and families at graduation, must be signed by a parent/guardian, even if you are 18 or older. You may pick up the letter in the front office NOW. Letters must be returned no later than May 14, 2026.
  • All devices, laptops, calculators, chargers, hotspots, etc. must be returned to Ms. Nesmith in the Wolves Den no later than May 14, 2026. 

Ticket Distribution

  • Tickets will be distributed starting Monday, May 11th - Monday, May 14, 2026 in the Front Office Conference Rm. All graduates will receive a minimum of 10 tickets. If there are additional tickets, they will be distributed on a first come first served basis. Please email Ms. Bradley starting on May 11th. May 14th is the last day for ticket distribution.

Graduation Rehearsal - Wednesday, May 20, 2026 @ 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

  • Graduation Rehearsal is MANDATORY - If you do not participate in rehearsal you will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
  • Rehearsal location: Goess Student Center Multipurpose Rm., Pitt Community College
  • Please DO NOT bring your cap/gown to rehearsal.
  • Only graduates and marshals are to be present during rehearsal; no family members are allowed at the venue.

Graduation Day - Thursday, May 21, 2026 @ 8:30 AM

  • Location: Greenville Convention Center.
  • Students are to enter through the side door. Your family will be able to enter starting at 9:00 am through the front sliding doors. The Graduation ceremony begins promptly at 10:00 am.
  • Cell phones, car keys, balloons, silly strong, beach balls,etc. are not allowed in the venue. We will have a magnetometer at the side door and WE WILL NOT COLLECT CELL PHONES OR KEYS. The only thing that you should have is your cap/gown/tassel.

Graduation Attire

  • You may decorate your cap only with the approval from Mr. Jenkins or Ms. Bradley for your design.

  • During the ceremony, students may only wear academic stoles, or other designated academic cords/medals. Neckwear, i.e. leis, 2026 neckwear, or other attire that is not academic may not be worn. After the ceremony, please feel free to wear what you will like.
  • Given that your robe is black, you may wear whatever clothing color you wish underneath. If possible, please make sure if you wear a skirt/dress, that the length is not longer than your gown.
  • You may also wish to wear comfortable shoes and not stilettos so that you will not risk tripping when you walk across the stage. Shoe color is up to you.
